Trippin' with Thor: Trip 2

Today's affirmation word is RENEW! My wife and I took our second adventure in our camper van named Thor. I spent days visualizing our next trip. Then - boom! The perfect itinerary materialized. Our doggies (Maggie and Ellie) joined us this time. It was so renewing - from a restful stop at an orchard and hemp farm to the majestic Garden of the Gods.

Day 1: Roaming the roads

First adventure stop - Bent's Old Fort
So much history to see here. It was a cool spot to relive historic events and extremely interesting. It is such a remote location. NOTE: Dogs are not allowed in the Fort. So, they took a stroll outside and enjoyed some lunch.

Second adventure stop - Fruit Orchard and Hemp Farm
We stopped for the night in Rocky Ford, Colorado. We were surrounded by an orchard and hemp fields. We parked under this beautiful old elm tree, had dinner at a little picnic table and watched the sun set from a porch-style swing. The place was cozy and beautiful.
Our doggies give it a thumbs up too.

Last scoop of this gallivanter:
Of course, poetry to end the night.

sit together
in the
sunlight

see the
bugs &
rocks

feel that cool
open air
as it grows
dark

sweet life
surrounds
you and me

Day 2: Roaming the roads

Last adventure stop - Garden of the Gods
It was so cool to see the amazing rock formations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I highly recommend exploring this ravishingly gorgeous piece of nature. If you want to hike a trail, bring water, wear a hat, and apply your sunscreen.

WE LOVE THOR! Hope to share many more adventures. Bye for now...
